Why can't Apple just make it in America? This is why Trump needs to be president
>>54722496
Because environmental requirements make it very difficult to make electronic devices like that. People want the manufacturing jobs back in the US but don't want it in their backyard.
Why do people use this shit? How do people justify using an OS that has ads built in?
>>54722325
nigga ubuntu has ads in it as well.
its a matter of two clicks to remove everything bad with win10.
The other day I asked a friend why he used a torrent client full of ads (latest uTorrent) when there were alternatives without them, and he got all defensive and pissed off because I was suggesting "BETTER PROGRAMS".
I also have another friend who's very into Youtube stuff and he watches full ads and doesn't even bat an eye. He says since he doesn't watch TV he doesn't mind ads in his computer.
Normalfags just aren't bothered by advertising, apparently.
Normies don't understand what cucks they are.
Help me out bros. What software can i use to make a graph like this? I have the values for each hour, and i need to display them in a tidy graph like the one in the pic.

How does a missile's guidance system work?
They put a pigeon in the tip with some windows. Then it pecks in the direction of ships and causes the missile to move.
>>54722300
Depends on the type of the missle

Is there a way to de-botnet Chrome without using Iridium or another fork?
I've been using Iridium but extensions like HTTPS Everywhere don't work because of an "outdated version of chrome" warning
>>54722289
There's always chromium, which is at least a little better than just using chrome
>>54722576
still doesn't accept all extension though
Using FF right now but chrome is just faster, and I have the system resources to use it
Just don't want to botnet

I would think that connecting through a local proxy, such as Proxomitron, combined with blocking bad sites in your hostfile, would make browsing safer and more private.

1070 confirmed for above Titan X performance!
THANK YOU BASED NVIDIA

>manufacturer A's unreleased product's performance is rumored to be "about X"
>manufacturer B is screwed
i do not understand how this makes sense to people
Polaris is better. 1070 is neck and neck with titan x, polaris is far bit a head of it.

Honest question from someone who understands nothing about programming:
would it be possible to make some kind of program to transform google maps/street view information to a game map? for instance, a minecraft map.
or a fps map/racing game map
how difficult would be to do something like that?
Using their api is easy. Making a game is harder, especially online multiplayer
>>54721299
Theoretically yes, you can do whatever the fuck you want. Making a map program that takes google raster images and turn them into 3D data would be fucken hard tho.
But you can make minecraft maps and such from elevation data quite easily with existing software, but that is elevation only, no buildings.
>>54721519
Google Earth has cities in 3d. It's very rough geometry created from 2d images though.

Is there any program that will convert files to PDF on windows?
I'm looking for a command line tool
So I got this really annoying problem in emacs and OS X.
I can't write in LaTeX because emacs intercepts my '\' command. Which means I can't write \anything
Anyone know how I can get Ctrl+Shift+7 binded to produce a \ instead?
Ok /g/, I am fucking curious about this shit
have you ever tried one of these?
I know that, even if specs say they can reproduce 20-20khz frequency range, they fall in low freqs and are not suitable for music listening, but maybe they're "fine" even for music, just wrong for audiophiles
bumping for interest
>>54721226
They sell ones for pool use, I know. Never used one.
>>54721226
they work, but audio quality is trash.fine for audio book and podcast listening, but music gunna sound like trash
