Come post your comfy technology. Doesn't have to be retro.
I'm a filthy casual who wants to build a professional-looking but minimalistic design portfolio website.
So... Squarespace or Wix?
those wix sites look like shit made by /gd faggots. They are just full of distractions and fancy animations, and of course unnecessary js and css libraries
it took 5 sec for me to load their template site, most people wont wait that long and google will punish you too when indexing
>pic related, performance analysis of wix site
Just ordered this from amazon, to try if it does good to my wrist. Gonna use it at work, so no gaming.
Opinions? Did I fall for the meme?
I am a graduate from information technology and I love programming. One thing I always wanted to learn was how to hack a computer. Unfortunately at my college the security class was not helpful. Could /g teach me how to hack a pc?
No one can teach you that. You gotta have an explorer mindset. Open up and inspect everything.
>For example: Open up a hdd and try to debug it. Understand its internals and try to find a way to get firmware on it from userland. If you got that maybe you can infect the entire machine trough a backdoored firmware update.
If you understand your tools you know how to force them to do anything you desire
Ubuntu is the only distro where you can get moderately up to date propriety graphics drivers. It's a shame that the open-source drivers are terrible (especially for Nvidia) and all the other distros are either freetarded or too small for someone to bother putting drivers out for them.
Yeah I've had problems with drivers with Linux before, just this week I installed kubuntu on secondary pc and I was setting up the drivers for my gpu and rebooted it and all I got was a black screen, I could access the terminal but I was too angry and tierd so I installed botnet windows.

Fedora + RPMFusion non-free.
Arch (and its derivatives e.g Antergos, Manjaro, Netrunner Rolling).
Probably Gentoo too.
>Just formatted a drive by accident
What's the best way to retrieve shit off it?
Do you prefer buying Bluray, or buying dvd?
Or do you like buying combos of the two?
For those of you who may work with phones and know about the SCloud, man was I laughing at Samsungs "Secured" method of locking people out of phones. To think that it was that easy to get around the SCloud is funny as hell to me. Luckily apple devices are not as easy to get inside of and do the same thing. Maybe someone with really good skills but not me lol.
I have no problems. I work on phones repairs, software, etc...The other day I figured out how to get a Samsung Account removed from samsung phones that have been hard reset while having the SCloud account active on the phone. I just thought it was so stupid how samsungs security was so easy to bypass. Even though I am a Sammy user and i very do much like they phones, I think apples devices are a lot more secured. At least against someone with my level of skills. I still havent figured out a way to remove icloud just scloud.
I'm looking for a distro... not just any distro, but the objective BEST distro. Hit me, /g/!
What does /g/ think of straight talk from Walmart? I have boost mobile right now and my mom and I were thinking of switching to straighttalk today but dont know much about it. Our phones right now really suck, hers never rings and mine bugs out all the time (zte warp sync(
Hey /g/, look what comes with the box
I sold my dual 970 for this baby, am I doing it right or just fell for another meme?
Before you buy sell or trade something, lets talk it over first.
I'm thinking of selling my netbook for a hundred. It's not 100% terrible but I was thinking of selling it for 110. (all 20's and a 10). think I could do this? However it's got mint on it. It cannot handle windows. Poor lil guy.
It's a dell inspiron. Think it's worth it?
Are there any Linux distros without Caps-lock delay.
I caps-lock instead of shift for capitalizing letters, and have to edit a fucking xbd config even when i install a beginner distro.
I have tried the latest OS X and Windows and both don't have this delay.
So please /g/, I beseech u. What distro has no caps-lock delay? Thank you
"Can I do it in Lisp?", I then said.
He smiled at me.
"Stop it", the manager said, "you will use our .NET stack and that's about it".
The handsome programmer giggled in silence, with class. I headed back to my office.
I heard a voice behind me, that said :
"How are you developing .NET applications on Gentoo Linux?"
Without turning back, I said :
"I test it on Mono, and you should know that Linux is just a kernel, what you're referring to as..."
His hand gagged me with strength, and he said "Good...
