Hi /g,
One question please.
I have to replace a fan on a PSU since this fan is becoming noisy. Since i don't want it to fail and make the PSU overheat, I'm willing to manually replace it (don't care about warranty).
The fan on this PSU is this model: HA1225L12S-Z (120 mm, 12 V, 0.33 A, 1500 RPM) with 3 cables, soldered on the PSU.
I was looking for a better replacement (pic somewhat related) but want to hear your advice on that.
Since is a PSU fan i want max reliability. I don't know nothing about the bearings, makers, etc.
Any...

You will likely die or be hospitalized if you attempt this.
>>54788622
You will need to make sure the starting voltage on the new fan is the same that and read up on how to safely discharge the caps

this post is how you know there are fucking 15 year olds using this website
fuck off you retarded shit
it's easy as fuck to do, takes 5 minutes in google to check up on safety precautions, and can be done by literally anyone

Neat
Like so many have said in the past thread, we are not ready for HEVC 100% but we are getting there. There is still no HW support for 10-bit HEVC decode on most laptops and virtually all phones. Encoding times are still rather long even on desktop processors. I would advise you all to NOT attempt to encode 1080p HEVC unless you have something better than an i3/A8 CPU as encoding times will be excruciatingly painful.
The encoders on public trackers fucking trigger me. They often use a x264 file as a source and instead of medium speed they choose super fast with 2 pass encode.
I thought I knew nothing about encoding, but apparently these kiddo's are worse.
Is AMD just being terrible or is this Windows being trash?
I have two monitors and now whenever the computer goes to sleep (read: monitors turn off, high performance settings dont allow full sleep), the windows reset position and anything that supports transparency looks like this until I restart the program or reboot.
Looks like it is talked about here:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/windows-7-movesresizes-windows-on-monitor-power/1653aafb-848b-464a-8c69-1a68fbd106aa
Anyone else experience this?
switch to balanced power, high performance is for fags
>>54788599
Balanced power has nothing to do with this issue and this post adds nothing to this conversation.
>>54788586
It's a very old Windows issue and has nothing to do with your graphics card
Microsoft just doesn't care about fixing bugs
You can use a script that automatically saves all window positions before going to sleep and restores them a few seconds after though
Why should I use Lisp or Haskell when Python already has all the good features from them?

>why should I learn meme languages
You shouldn't
>>54788521
It has none of their features actually, but you should learn rust and not haskell or lisp.

It must suck to look at 3k as such a huge amount of money that the idea of someone spending it on..basically toys just makes you die a little inside and make threads like this.
I am loving my Vive, best porn delivery system out right now..plus it can do other shit once people make some shit for it.. Seems like a win win so far..
Maybe you should just focus on a job kid instead of getting upset about people can afford things easier than you can...i mean cannot.
Go pick on the guys who spend that...

Want to be hype? Install Arch.
Want to be hipster? Install Gentoo.
Want a good server with applications that haven't been updated in the last 5 years? Install Centos/Debian.
Want a system that just werks? Install Manjaro/Mint/Ubuntu
