What would you recommend to someone with a 3k budget? All of it, desktop, screen...
I have been a NEET for too long. It is too late for me to get a job. No one will hire me. I am fucked. All I can do is to play video games until my mother dies. then I can leave this horrible place.
I want the desktop to last as long as it possibly can. Meaning, being playable. For instance, my old GTX 570 still works great for current games.
What would you recommend for me? I do not do anything else besides gaming.

So I'm financing a new laptop from Conn's Home Plus and am trying to decide between the HP Omen or the HP Beats special edition. The Omen is pretty much my choice, but I just found out it only has a 256 SSD hard drive, and has no optical drive! What kind of laptop has no optical drive?? Burning CDs and DVDs (of even playing them) is pretty important to me. I mean I suppose both of these issues can be solved by getting an external HD and an external CD-RW drive right? Just kind of annoying having to bring those everywhere I go.. The Beats laptop is about $1,000 USD...

the UE Roll is great if you need waterproof bluetooth speakers, and the anker battery pack is great if you're traveling and your access to power isn't a sure thing, but we haven't established that the OP falls under either of these use cases.
like i would love to see OP go travel and stuff and thus benefit from a battery pack, but first tell us that you actually do that and that you spend more than 2 or 3 hours away from a powered USB port per day.

some researchers at MIT did, but storing the images exposed them to basically all of the legal dangers a researcher that studies online communities could be exposed to.
