What's the best aftermarket 290x? I need one that is quiet and cool in temps
>I need one that is quiet and cool in temps
Just wait for the r9 480x, will probably be equally if not more powerful than the 290x and will consume about half the power, thus being more cool and quiet.
Is it a good idea to buy a FirefoxOS phone ?
>Mozilla later announced that Firefox OS smartphones would be discontinued by May 2016 as the development of "Firefox OS for smartphones" would cease after the release of version 2.6.
How have you made use of linear programming /g/?
Pick a random adjective. Stick it in front of the word "programming." Instant meme. OP is a faggot.
Jackie Chan uses Kaspersky. Why don't you?
VR is FINISHED!!!!!!!!!
Nausea was a huge problem with the early FPS'es as well. If you wanted to play wolfenstein 3d or marathon for more than a few minutes a preparatory dose of dramamine was in order. They eventually solved the problem well enough to allow commercial success.
VR will just have to be limited to stationary simulations where you're actually moving your body around.
Just another way that nerd dream-tech gets nerfed by reality. And people still seriously think we'll ever simulate a human brain or create strong AI...
>normies can't get a fucking grip on themselves in a virtual environment
What else is new? Most of them can't use a mouse and keyboard at the same time.
Just a matter of growing accustomed.
Can one get "lucky" while bruteforcing a key?
I only got my first static website set up few hours and and I keep getting pic related requests from random IP addresses every few hours.
Are these bots scanning for vulnerabilities?
Anything I can do to unlock am iPhone 5S that shows up with this?
My brother bought it from some Turkish guy on eBay, so it's 99% likely stolen, but he's left it here and I want to see if any techniggers can help me get in.
>seasonic is the most trusted and reputable brand
>its the only brand you can buy off name alone and know its going to just werk
>brand new expensive S12II
>turning off for no reason even in bios in less than a year of build
>entirely clocked build
>temps in the case are 30C under load
>cheap $20 EVGA stabilizes build immediately
>google search the S12II and find out on hardwaresecrets review which took apart the units that it doesnt use solid caps and isnt a single rail, both stated on S12II promo art and boxes
tell me again while jewsonic should be blindly trusted and shilled across every hardware forum?
TFW when my Seasonic X literally became defect around the end of the warranty.
Now I was still trying to rma it, but
>I can understand that it's an annoying situation but at the same time, we have to keep balance between service and our policy. Also, we need our policy to make everyone equals as some end users have seen their power supplies rejected too for the same reason. This is why, I won't be able to allow your RMA.
I will never buy a single shitty thing from them again. Motherfuckers. I paid 120€ for that...

I'm checking to see if this happened to anyone else. Because it happened to me. Every time the window popped up I clicked "No".
Well this morning I checked and now it updated to Windows 10. Did this happen to anyone else?
Yes, to plenty of stupid people who didn't botther to just uninstall kb3035583 update to avoid the annoying message.
Just click "Revert to 7/8.1" and get the fuck out of my /g/ you illiterate retard.
I have a bunch of old hard drives, some of them aren't even recognized by bios anymore. But I'm too paranoid to just throw them out, especially if I can't even check if there is anything sensitive on them.
How should I damage them before throwing them out? Would it be enough to remove the cover, scratch the surface of the disks and just throw it into the trash like that?
Unless you're a terrorist mastermind or the FBI, there's no need to destroy a hard drive.
But if you really need to, disassemble the HDD, smash every component with a hammer, use a blowtorch to melt the components to oblivion until you're satisfied, then smash it up some more, and throw the tiny pieces into the toilet (at least the ones that haven't crumbled to dust.
I wanted to get a proper laptop to replace my netbook, and I've been thinking about getting a Thinkpad, but I'm in a tight budget.
Which Thinkpad can I buy that'll be faster than a netbook, but cheap as fuck?
How do I get more power?
