Seemed like a perfect choice for my server/media center solution.
How could google fuck up something as simple as emojis? For fucks sake, half the time i dont know what those yellow blobs mean, couldn't they just license the facebook/ios smileys that people actually understand??
Google's emojis are way better than the samsung or iOS ones because there's the only one of the three with a decent artstyle to them.
>>54801971
You shouldn't be communicating with poeple who use emojis anyway.

Welcome to /fglt/. We are always open to users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are four ways to try GNU/Linux, you can:
0) Install a GNU/Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
1) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full GNU/Linux experience".
2) Dual-boot GNU/Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about GNU/Linux)
3) Go balls...

Hey guys, new to GNU/Linux and I, and I'm being a tad bit confused on running Openbox. I'm following this guide: https://wiki.debian.org/Openbox
Trying to do it from the commandline, and typing in:exec openbox-session
It mentions to setup the xinitric file in your home directory and insert the line above, however I don't really know how to get there from a terminal.

why has this watch become a meme in recent years and coveted apart from the price tag, i find the styling repulsive.
I like this watch. Someone I know would sell it to me for $3500.
Is it a fair price?
Can someone tell me if its a quality movement?

Try reading the rest of the page, you might figure it out
In Android Marshmallow 6.0, Adoptable Storage was introduced.
Basically, Adoptabe Storage replaces apps like Links2SD or Apps2Sd, that made Android think your external SD Card was one with Androids main flash drive so you can move apps and games to the external SD card.
Adoptable Storage does have its quirks, some apps might not move, but its a good option for phones with limited memory.
If you want to split your external SD Card so part is used as Adoptable Storage, and the remaining part is used as Portable Storage, you'll have to use ADB to format the drive. Otherwise, if you let Android format your SD Card as internal storage it will assign the entire SD card as Adoptable Storage.
Check out this blog for more information.
http://blog.sam.liddicott.com/2016/02/android-6-semi-adopted-storage.html
If you've been using Adoptable Storage, post up your pros and cons.
Nice blog
But they still don't let me copy from a USB OTG drive to local/allow apps to use data from a USB OTG.
Makes everything allow as sot because you're limiting internal storage speed to the speed of the sd card.
Don't use it.
Took apart my reference 570 today to change the thermal paste and I noticed how shitty the cooling really is.
>room for a slightly larger fan
>plenty more room for a larger heatsink
>no heatpipes, only a copper plate
>heatsink could be a little taller and still not touch the shroud
>fan could be moved back a bit to allow for an even bigger heatsink (almost half a centimeter)
These could make a big difference...

It's almost as if they have since improved the reference cooler design
>>54815860
Have they?
What's improved about it? I was under the impression they were just better because they weren't cooling housefires anymore.
>>54815881
They are better but the fan profiles are shit, for some reason Nvidia prefers the cards to hit the temperature target and start trotting down that ramping up the fans even though they can perfectly cool the card, every reference card since Kepler is like this, with Maxwell Nvidia did the same and now Pascal is doing it too.
