Space vs. Tabs... this is a real thing you nerds argue over?
Would there be any benefit to selling my 980ti for a 1070?
No, the 980ti won't be remotely obsolete until they release a 1080ti and even then the 980Ti is still a fucking amazing card. It's like selling your 780ti for a GTX 980 when the 900 series launched. No point, card is already top of the line.

I went for an interview to go to tafe.
The female tech assistant didn't know what linux was. So she got some neck beard fat ass with a pony tail to come help.
He told me my computer was broken.
He also kept butting-in during my interview even though he wasn't supposed to be there.
What a weirdo
How come AMD's hardware specs are always superior (bandwidth, FLOPS, texel fill rate, etc) but the cards either end up being on par or slower than Nvidia?
1. Games don't push AMD's strengths, that being high bandwidth, massive shader and texel throughput, but opt for pixel fill/throughput which is Nvidia's forte, and pretty much the only objectively measurable scale Nvidia beats AMD at.
2. >>54812920 goes hand-in-hand with 1.
3. Their drivers have higher overhead than Nvidia's, meaning they lose out performance from the start.
In short, it's entirely a software problem.
About to order an XPS 15 with a 4K screen.
How fucked am I, /g/?
Why are serial ports dying /g/?
Nowadays it's hard to find mobos that even have a serial header let alone a db-9 port on the back
usb adapters are also not up to par.
What has the world come to?
Do you follow standard typing guidelines?
>Not using touchscreen.
No, I keep my thumbs on the space bar and use my index fingers to type. If I can't reach something I use my pinkies. Judge me all you like, it's what I'm comfortable with.
Whats the most comfy chair I can buy
one that will last, but always allow me to reach maximum neckbeard comfy status as i type code & watch media
I recently bought a highly rated normal deskchair, but its just not comfy, whats worse is its falling apart
please /g/, im begging you, share your wizard, what is the best comfy chair?
Pic related is what I bought
it was a best seller with alot of good reviews, but its fucking garbage thats falling apart & uncomfy as fuck
Now I know /g/ is mostly generals for shit like phone screens & muh battle stations
but sometimes we can discuss other stuff too
I think this is one of those times
My Samsung galaxy S5 is a laggy piece of shit. I dont want to get a new phone just yet since im still on a plan, Does anyone know how i can speed it up? Cheers
Just like you'd expect from an American tech company. Avoid!
>Midrange Polaris runs Doom at 1440p 144hz
>Meanwhile Nvidiacucks have to pay hundreds more for the same performance
Go ahead and shitpost all you want Nvidiatards, we've already won.
Depends if you have a lot of disposable income. If I was making about four times the amount I do now, I'd definitely just hop from card to card. I have a feeling from experience of owning an AMD system, that Poo-laris will be quite underwhelming, same with Vega.
