Logic is ass
I currently have SLI 770 in my rig and I am upgrading to 1080 when it FUCKING ARRIVES I know you can't run SLI with two different cards but physics can still be handled by another card. Do you think I should trade my 770 to a guy for his 970 and use that as physics? And do you believe what they are saying about "Being able to SLI different cards in the future?" and how would that scale to Maxwell and Pascal?
>>54838601
Sounds reasonable.
>T.Nvidiot 780 SLI
>>54838601
970 is massive overkill for physx. Hardly any games use it extensively.
>>54838601
If the Ashes of the Singularity devs are anything to go by, you still wouldn't want to SLI/Crossfire two cards which are massively different in performance.
Maybe in the future they'll fix the issues, but even with DX12 right now, you're encouraged NOT to turn on MGPU if you'd be mixing DGPU+IGPU
What is the most beautiful code you have ever seen? Pls give links to the repos or screenshots.
"beautiful" in your opinion and by your definition of "beauty", of course

An interrupt handler in an OS I made for fun
I cba to give links because I'm on my phone and it's easily searchable and I hate you all, but there really is some gorgeous code in quake (qw/2/3). Spent hours browsing and learning how they all fit together over the years.
So, when Chrome came out in 2008, I dumped Firefox for it, and have used it as my only browser since.
Fast forward to a few months ago, I bought a MacBook. Decided to try Safari because Chrome raped my battery life.
Safari is actually a pretty good browser. It's standards-compliant, is good on battery life, and it even has extensions. I can live with it.
I never thought that'd be the case. Why is it so surprisingly usable?
>>54838558
Probably because it use private API OS function that only apple know.
Just like IE made month ago
I won't be using it until it gets WEBM support, and even then, Chrome's dev tools are just so vastly superior.

Great idea, OP!
Be sure to leave your stock to someone you love so they can cash in on your good investments after your suicide from the thought of being unable to handle that much wealth.
