If we revert back to a SHTF societal collapse where you're farming, building, foraging, dragging and carrying, constructing and fighting sunrise to sunset, you're not going to need a gym. This Australian wildlife didn't pump any iron.

That would be dependent on the type of zombie apocalypse. If we are referring to classic zombies, then I would choose a bicycle. Depending on the location, I would focus on melee sort of weapons.
For fast modern zombies? More gear and lots of metabolic condition for speed, would be what is needed.
