I've been watching videos on form but it's difficult to achieve when you don't have someone to correct you.
What are the dangers of lifting with slightly off movements (apart from injury)?
Will it take longer to achieve gains? Is there chance of not achieving gainz at all because you don't hit the correct muscle?
My lower back hurts like someone hit it with a baseball bat when i DL with rounded back.

Take a video of yourself doing a lift you';re curious about.
It becomes blindingly obvious what you're doing wrong when you take a video of lets say a squat or a deadlift. Even as a beginner you can clearly see;
>Oh fuck i'm not hitting depth
>Oh fuck my knees are buckling inwards
>Oh fuck no hip drive
>Oh fuck i'm doing a good morning
Or with deads:
>Oh fuck i'm hyperextending my back
>Oh fuck my shit is all rounded
>Oh fuck my hips are shooting up before my back
etc
Take a video and watch it yourself. alternatively ask a strong boi at your gym to help you with form.
Personally I asked a powerlifting bro at my gym to quickly watch my form(as opposed to some random skinnyfat who doesn't know form more than I do)
SHOULDERS BACK
SHOW OFF YOUR BOOBS
TOES POINTING A BIT OUTWARDS
LIFT WHEN SHOULDERS ARE OVER THE BAR
yeah I'd say with deadlifts the 2 most common form mistakes are:
1. having your ass too low so that you're squating it up for the first part, hips should be just low enough that you can reach the bar no lower
2. not tensing your entire back to ensure it stays striaght
a form-check video can help you notice either of these

Αpart from injury i presume not maximum gains since you might use an extra muscle to help you lift it.
Probably happens for every excercise.
> tfw fucked my knee from a mixture of bad form and lifting more than i should have
time to spend a week feeling fucking useless
