I know that feeling man, I fucked up my back and my doctor told me it was paraspinal overuse. It's been a year and I'm still not fully healed, I was at 95% but I saw a cute weeb girl with a plump ass at the gym today and tried to impress her by hitting the bag today, I did very well at the time being but about an hour late my back feels fucked up again like I took twenty steps backwards, I can barely rotate now. Fuck me dude.

Yah, torn my superspinatus in my rotator cuff. No lifting overhead what so ever and have to keep it a secret at work.
Not a big enough tear to get surger. So either wait over a year for it to partially heal and start lifting and re-tear it or completely tear it. It's a complete loss. Goodbye sweet gains.

1) lots of people do things besides overhead press that can injure shoulders. Sometimes these things show up during an overhead press.
2) If 225 was heavy for OP, his form was probably not perfect. It happens.
