i used to do this, because for some reason the momentum of cleaning it would help me with my first rep whereas simply unracking it didn't create this sort of momentum

i stopped doing it when i found myself getting ridiculously dizzy and disoriented mid way through the second set with 65kg directly above my head

Not the guy, but I used to use the hooks for that until some guy on here said it was as easy as rolling the bar over a small plate on the ground to elevate it.
Blew my mind how simple it was. I was about to buy a fuckoff expensive deadlift jack before I tried it.

Yeh. It's nice. Humid and hot as fuck, but that's alright. I can jump in the pool (behind where the camera is) to cool.

It's nice to be outside and work out. I'm not saying it's like "be one with nature, man- 420 lmao", but it's nice to be away from air conditioning and heat in its own way. The privacy is great too
