>CAN BARELY OVERHEAD PRESS THE BAR FOR 5 REPS

I just don't know any more guys. I simply don't know if I should continue lifting any further.

OHP HURTS MY SHOULDER! IT FEELS UNSTABLE IN THE LOCK OUT!

>165X5 DL
>80X5 OHP
>105 X1 OHP

IM SORRY
>>
those are good squat and diddly numbers for 2 months. just watch some ohp form videos

Ditch the bar and try dumbbells. If it still hurts go get your shoulder checked. CAPSLOCK JUST IN CASE

Seconded, barbell OHP used to be uncomfortable for me so I used dumbbells for a while while also working on shoulder mobility (google it for ways to increase it) and now I can OHP with a bar without any discomfort or pain.
>>
keep working on your form. if you're eating at a deficit, don't expect them to go up very fast. especially the press.

Dumbbells feel bad for me too

Scared to go up in weight because of how shoulder feels
>>
>>37885262
Literally this close to giving you the "OP is a faggot seal of approval"
Go check that shoulder!
>>
>>37885296
I got surgery on it
>>
Buy the book Starting Strength. If you don't have a competent coach I would argue that it is essential. Other books might be just as good, but I can personally recommend Starting Strength.

Jesus Christ, you don't think that information might have been useful in the OP? Talk to a doctor about lifting. Just get a doctor who knows about lifting and not some mommydoc who thinks barbells are scary.
