before finally being diagnosed with diabetes, my obese older cousin would fall asleep in a minute after sitting on a couch. I think it was a combination of the beetus and sleep apnea. My dad was always thin and fit and did heavy physical labour, until he had a knee injury playing tennis. Then he started eating badly and gained a lot of weight. Last year he decided he had enough, because we were worried and he got gout and had more difficulty walking. So he started eating healthy and cycling and lost all the weight, and he's now at the weight he was when he got married.
