It's only for the first week or so after about three weeks the thought of food before your feeding period makes you sick and you have a ton of energy.

When I started IF for the first time I drank lots of coffee for the cravings and pre-workout+exercise to keep me awake.

It's worth it Anon. Been my lifestyle for over 3 years now.

EDIT: Unless you're doing a IF longer than 24 hours, but don't do that...

Is IF + healthy foods (and not drinking your calories) GOAT for fat loss? Haven't tried it yet but I consider it since I'm almost already there (eat 8pm last wake up 12pm because neet lmao). Should I do 16:8? Is it worth it? Do you guys do it everyday or nah?

Eh why not.

Doing IF doesn't do as much for you as you've probably read though. At most it will give you slightly better insulin sensitity (which can make a huge difference in the right circumstances). The rest of your diet and routine in general is far more important.

For example I fucked up several times cutting too fast, having a retarded routine and also couldn't train for most of last year, though I kept doing IF because it fits well with my schedule. I have lots of energy in the morning (I need to be mentally sharp for the first half of the day so this really helps a lot) and I'm more productive than after my feeding window. I also find it easier to control my diet in general.
