I was 100% sure they would all fail. amazing job by eddie. still don't like suits, straps and hitching in deadlifting competitions, though. I don't think the entertainment value would be any less if the competition was raw with strict judging.

I'm fine with straps and hitching.
In fact I love hitching, it means it's hard. The whole point of the deadlift max is to lift is much weight as possible, and if you aren't shaking you aren't going heavy enough.
I'm not too crazy about the suit, but I'm fine with it as long as they clarify the records as lifted with a suit and not a true strongman style deadlift record which up to this point has usually been straps and belt only AFAIK, could be wrong on that because last year Eddie had a suit on but left the suit straps down.
Anybody know when they will post the videos for the competition? I watched the deadlifts and then went to the gym, the competition is over but nothing has been posted yet.
