Sup /fit/, I need all info on creatine you have
I've been seriously considering it after a friend and my cousin told me about their amazing gains after using creatine, but I want more opinions.
My lifts are shit:
Bench: 165lbs 3x5
Squat: 230lbs 3x5
Deadlift: 295lbs 1x5
Should I leave off creatine for a while or will it really help me stop being such a weak motherfucker? I know it won't give amazing out-of-this-world gains, but I am curious as to how much it will help.
Typically
Take it daily post or pre workout (doesn't really matter, I take it after)
Drink plenty of water round the clock
Take no more than 5g daily just cause your body can't absorb anymore unless you 300+
You don't have to cycle it, can take it year round.
On off days just take it with your breakfast
Creatine lets you crank out one more last hard rep.
If your not gonna crank out that last rep, save your money
Lifting 5+ years here.
Creatine has done nothing for me, took it for like 3+ years straight nonstop everyday. Stopped about a year ago and noticed zero difference in fullness of muscles or strength-stamina.

I mean I wouldn't put much faith in it. Could be another market gimmick to make a quick buck.
I bought one creatine long ago expensive AF like 70 bux. celltech. did NOTHING for me
dat dere cell tech failed me.. so yeah. Id just keep lifting, trial and error, keep learning and eat protein and a simple protein supp

Cheap supplements. Do research before you buy shit from gimmicky name brands.

Some people have said they get amazing results and some of my friends who lift quite a bit have said they felt nothing from it. Apparently it varies
Question - is a loading phase for creatine just broscience memery?
I've run into so much conflicting information online it's fucking ridiculous. Should I just straight off the bat go into 5g each day?

Just do 5grams a day until kidney failure.

I've been doing body exercises for a while and no one noticed
I used creatine for three days straight and did nothing but bicep curls for three days, and when I went back to work they said, "it's obvious you've been working out"
I'm holocaust mode by fit standards and otter by /fa/ standards
I know I just addressed like five memes but creatine is making me larger, however I've got nowhere to go but up with progress

It will make your muscles swell up and you'll look bigger.

It's cheap, I got a 500g container and I'm just doing 5g a day until it runs out. I don't think it's doing much for me so I'm just not gonna buy more.
Is it appropriate to take 1 week off after a month of creatine use?
>Should I leave off creatine for a while or will it really help me stop being such a weak motherfucker?
wat
If you want it to help you need to use it, what kind of retarded logic is this?
Creatine helps a bit but monohydrate bloats me so I tend to only eat 2-3g per day.
creatine isn't really something you notice strength wise (the water retention is noticeable, however). it's just something you kind of have to believe works and that if you weren't using creatine, maybe you'd be weaker. you won't actually feel any different from creatine, you can't see it working.
but studies say it works and it's cheap so you eh
If you did a retarded routine like bulgarian method then you will definitely feel creatine helping out.
If youre on like a 4day split then you wont notice it helping you out based on your rest.

Some people don't respond to creatine so be aware of that.
As for me, I've noticed that j can do a few additional reps after being on it for about a month.
