There seems to be two camps:
-"lol just take 5 grams a day bro, no need to cycle it"
-"load with 20+ grams, maintainence then cease taking for a while"


So who takes it constantly and who does cycles? I just want to know what the pros and cons are for both as far as performance goes. I'm inclined just to take 5-6 grams pre/post workout, but if someone can prove to me that this cycling shit results in huge gains I will consider it.

I hate to complicate things but if I'm already autistically using cronometer I mayaswell go full retard if need be.

Anyone got some input?

5g a day. The whole "load/cycle/stop" thing was basically just an over-cautious thing, held over from the days when creatine was new and not yet fully understood. The concerns people had when those rules were written have since been conclusively determined by science to be pure hokum.

i always take it post-workout. insulin will help get it to the muscles, and the best time to spike your insulin is post-workout. and even if spiking your insulin isnt intentional, a big meal after a strenuous workout is the most likely time itll occur

Just take 5g a day, everyday not just with training. Not pre or post workout it all doesn't matter. That's also the easiest just add it in your routine to take it so you don't forget it some days.

tldr - All creatine = same gains, but your dosage and side effects could vary depending on HCL vs ALK vs Monohydrate.

IMO HCL is best as it simplifies the dosing, requires smaller dosages, and is less prone to digestive problems.

But don't listen to me or any of fit as gospel. Get the information from a legit source like the linked video and make your own educated decision.
