So /b/ me and my 2 co-workers started a 5 day work out and our goal is to be in the 1000lb pound club. We all did our maxes today. My question is who do you think will reach the mark first? We will all be doing the same work out with each other, here are the stats:
Me:
>6ft, 190lbs, 30 yo
>bench 285
>squat 260
>diddy 320
Friend One:
>6'4, 232lbs, 27yo
>bench 225
>squat 280
>diddy 345
Friend Two:
>5'11, 212lbs, 26yo
>bench 200
>squat 305
>diddy 325
We plan on maxing out every six weeks

You if you start training your squat and deadlift properly since those are poverty numbers and they should progress fast and you already have the lead on bench which progresses slowly.

Also, wtf is up with those numbers op get your shit together.

I've always been good at bench since high school since that seemed to be the only lift people gave a shit about. I never squared only leg press/extension/curls and never dead lifted before. I'm pretty surprised I got what I did
>>
Give it a few months of hard work and you'll hit 1000 no problem. The next task is hitting it without the bench numbers.

Who started this retarded notion that a 1000lbs total has anything to do with power?

Sure, it's a good total for 132lbs women. No denying that.

But the notion that MEN are giving a 1000lbs total a second glance is disgusting.

Not him, but that's not the body of someone who's 5'10 and 240 lbs.

this was a month ago when I was 210
>>
>>37820826
210 what??? That's isn't 210 unless your way taller than 5'10
>>
>>37820734
If you're going to pretend to be me, at least get my wright or lifts right.
>>

You're correct. I'm actually 195. Unsure of my weight in that one, as it's from an old cbt, but I haven't been 210 in a long time
>>
>>37821061
Why do you keep e-stating your weight? Yoy could e-stat lifts or height, but you chose weight?

Are you actually 4'11 DYEL and hoping noone will question those stats if you go full retard with your weight?
>>
>>37817398
If you focus squats and diddy more then you
Your bench compared to those two is pretty disproportionate in favour of bench so you probably have an easier time working squat and diddy up more then your bench
>>
>>37822337
I don't ever e stat, but here's your (you)
>>

This is so fucking true. When I trained 8 years ago no one even did squats at our gym. Now with the internet and youtube all over the place people realise what actually makes you grow and do squats and diddys.
I toke years of and just started 6 months ago again and my bench sky rocketed up while my squat is still just average for my time training.

Yeah back in high school I think I got my max up to 270. Stopped lifting seriously for a long time now back at it and my muscles remembered "oh yeah we are kinda strong here" and my strength came back in no time. I actually enjoy doing squats and diddys now cause my form is good. Was always afraid of them but pretty sure I'll gain strength quickly
