(ie. make it hard and expensive to sell junk food; make misinformation about well understood things illegal ie. fad diets). Also think the gov't should break apart large corporations so small business is more competitive. Also to prevent people like Soros, Gates, and Kochs from having the power of small nations.

In concept there's nothing particularly wrong with essential socioeconomic idealisms. On paper, they all make some sort of sense. They all have the same goal - do the right thing. Capitalism is a more Darwin-esque approach, while Communism is a more altruistic one, and then there's all that lies inbetween. None of them have been shown to work in practice as their ideal forms though, for obvious reasons. It's a game of shifting and adjusting policy and idealism to find what works best for most people or fits the popular way of thinking.
The only wrong opinion in politics is that you are absolutely correct and those who oppose you are absolutely wrong.
