It's like you can almost fly
>>
It feels like you're higher off the ground than you were before
>>
Feels good when you do your first clean one. After that its fucking grind and i sorta hate doing them. belongs in every back routine tho
>>
>>37767692
It makes me almost want to go hard on the tren just to know what it feels like to get 10+ clean deadhang pullups
>>
>>37767574
a grind desu. I used to be able to do them 1 handed, I would see built guys throwing me jealous looks even though I was a skellington.
>>
>>37767574
at first it feels impressive but then it turns into just another exercise to progress with

I like the feeling of a lat pump
>>
>tfw hungry skellington
>tfw pullups are my specialty
>>
I can do one pull up rested but otherwise can't do it

Is this normal?
>>
>>37767766
no you fat fuck
>>
Is this a meme? I'm as dyel as they come and often do a few pullups at the end of my workout.
>>
>>37767761

>tfw true hungry skellington
>tfw have never been able to do a single pullup because no upper body strength

NORMIES LEAVE

Pull ups are fairly pointless. More of an ego thing. Half decent for toning the back and shoulders a bit. Not worth it though.

REMEMBER KIDS: you only to be able to do 1 "full" pull up in order to survive.

Any more than that is for your own ego.
>>
>>37767574
here is a tip for you do bench pressing or dumb bells in 3 weeks or so you can do atleast 4 pull up

It feels fucking good to do a pullup
Nothing like being able to do more things than some fat lard can't.
>>
Absolutely horrible
I always end my exercizes with them since for some reason as soon as I finish doing them my shoulders feel like they're bruised or some shit after like 3
>>
>>37767920

>are they a meme
Yes, they're terrible. That's why everyone does them.

But seriously, do them. Don't do wide grip pull ups like some retard though.
>>
working up to a pull-up (from 0) only at the gym is hard

pretty much need a pullup bar at home, then you can do them whenever you feel like it and it becomes incredibly easy

kind of like pushups
>>
>>37767885
>pull ups are fairly pointless

Something a fat person would say.
>>
>>37767574

Who's part of the 8-10 chin up but can't pull chin past the bar on pull ups squad?
>>
>>37767966
I'm asking if pretending they're impossible is a meme. I've been lifting for under three months and have no problem doing pullups.
>>
>>37767775
Not fat but dyel
>>
>>37767785
>im small as shit and can lift my body with relative ease
Add weight
>>
>tfw started as skellington and could do shitloads of pullups
>tfw you gain weight and your pullup max shrinks rapidly

feels weird man, pullups are an extreme meme exercise but they're still good to do. I'm continuously impressed by super jacked guys that obviously weigh 200+ lbs doing weighted pullups, shit is insane.

I tried and almost hit a muscle-up on the bar today. Elbows just never settled in the right spot for the rest of the way up.

I do 8-10 pull-ups as my warm up. The evil glares I get at the gym...
>>
>>37768043
Oh you're all just fat, lol
>>
>>37767698
I can do 15. Doesnt really feel good. I thought a strict muscle up would fill the void but that didnt do it either. Hoping a front lever will give meaning to my life.
>>
Feels good when you do it on a high bar at the gym, and all the qts start to mire
>>
>>37768071
I usually just do a set of pullups followed by a set of dips. Idk how to smoothly do a muscle-up without kipping or dislocating something.
>>
Amazing. I recently did weighted pullups with 70lbs added for 5 and i felt like a god.
>>
>>37767885
Yeah the same way you just need to do 1 push up and 1 squat. Lmaoing at DYELs doing 2+ reps of any exercise.

Why would you need to do more than one? If you pull yourself up you are no longer in the pending doom of just hanging there.

>>37767926
Im sure, its got to be nice to do more of A thing than a fatty. Still doesn't make them any more useful for getting built.

>>37767987
Yup, cuz fatties also need to do more than just one pull up to survive. Right?

>>37768317
Pushups are fairly pointless for size/strength gain. Great for toning up and works the core quite well, if you follow up with planks. Squats are perfect for strengthening nearly the whole body. But if you are going for raising your max weight you do the 1-2 reps. It's quite simple really.
