I am currently doing Jason Blaha's 5x5 program for beginners and I am experiencing a lot of pain on my lower back while doing the barbell row. Should I substitute the barbell row or fix the problem at hand. My form on the lift is fine and I have not experienced this before. It has only occurred recently and has been going on for the past 3 weeks

Could be because you have a weak core I used to never work core and my lower back would start hurting putting dishes away or doing some sort of bullshit bent over. Core is a lot stronger now and no more lower back pain.

Do Scoobys rotisserie planks. Is good shit. Mastery is 3 sets at 60 seconds for each. Once you can do that go crazy and find all sort of other silly shit you like.
