As long as u maintain damage control (consume electrolytes after purge, make sure all real food digests first, have dental insurance, go to doctor regularly) then it's still an unhealthy habit but not nearly as destructive as its stigma makes it out to be because most bulimics are trying to be bone thin. When controlled, it's very useful. Egyptians used to do it btw.
