Never really cared about beautifying food.

I go buy a fuckload of frozen veggies, dump them in and cook them with quinoa, throw some spices like chili powder and I'm done. Some of the ones in there are kale, celery, okra, tomato, red onions, purple onions, carrot, squash, green beans, all colours of bellpeppers, corn, peas, spinach.

Easy, tasty, convenient.

I understand where you are coming from with beautifying the food, my tuna salad is just tuna mustard a drop of mayo and green beans all thrown together (about as ugly of a dish as you can imagine) but the look of that slop is...it's mesmerizing..

If it weren't for making food for family along with myself, I'd probably never bother seasoning either, haha. Any component in it tastes great alone. I eat all the veggies raw half the time. I'm glad there's some common ground, though - I've always compared it to decorating toilet paper.

Also if you actually lost 400 pounds, congrats.

2nd Meal: 125g Chicken Slices
3rd Meal: 2 Nutella Sandwiches
4th Meal: 2 scoops whey w/ water
5th Meal (I'm eating it now): 120g drained Tuna from can + 1 boiled egg
6th Meal: 125g chicken slices

I'm supposed to be cutting but I can't get enough of my Nutella sandwiches. Made it worse that I didn't have any other proper food in the house. Those 4 sandwiches set me back ~2176 calories. Luckily I'll still be only at ~2845 calories once the day is over. I'm be back on it tomorrow, properly.

I use to have a very "food is fuel, why dress it up" attitude with things but as I make food for family and the wife she appreciates it looking like more than just slop on a plate.....I'm still salivating for that slop you posted though, I can't explain it..

And yea, I lost 400lbs. Was a planet at 607lbs at my highest.
