is there hope for someone with chronic back pain? is it even possible to fix it permanently or do I have to live with it? my symptoms:

> mild, continuous lower back pain particularly in the morning

> worsens when standing up or walking for lengthy period

> lower back pain when performing any kind of abdominal exercises, such as plank, bicycles, crunches. yes, I've checked my form on numerous occasions.

things like stretching and dead hangs relieve the symptoms but only temporarily. I'm looking for a permanent fix, or to at least know if it's possible. is there anyone who has had chronic back pain and has fixed it for good?

Get a better bed and maintain proper posture

Stretching, pushups and deadlifts. Basically anything that works your core. Also sleep on your stomach, this is the most important part, sleep on your back.

I used to have lower back pain, it was something with one of the vertebrae. It wasn't hurting all the time, but it would come back if I lifted something heavy.

All I did was stay off anything which might aggravate it for a very long time, I wasn't lifting then so I could afford to rest it for a couple of years. Maybe it didn't need that long, but I think it's totally gone now - I've been doing some lifting and haven't had that issue come back.

You might need some therapy to fix it, or it might only need rest. If I were you I'd have it diagnosed.

The one cure for back pain is deadlifts (I.E. strengthening erectors) yet you are so focused on abs you exacerbated the issue by tightening your hip flexors even more. I would give you more advice, but you are absolutely 100% lost cause at this point.

I'd seriously consider kicking the stool if I were you

the thought of not lifting for a couple of years is difficult to accept. I wouldn't even know if it would fix it. I tried not lifting for a few weeks, and have noticed no changes in my back pain symptom.

I tried to have it diagnosed. the physio therapist told me it is neither an hernia or scoliosis. she didn't recommend against strength training, and gave me some exercises which I do but they only provide temporary relief.

Lose weight. less strain on the back.

Change your sleeping position, your body does not like the position it is in also change your bed if possible

Get an hour more sleep.

Walk/jog a few miles daily to naturally realign the spine
