Because its much easier to lose fat when I'm just doing cardio.
I lifted at the gym for 8 months and on and off for a while at home before then. I just want to not be fat when I start lifting again. I got good gains atm but a big gut that makes them currently pointless.

This is all well and good, but the whole point of the program is to build a foundation of strength for beginners and novices. This is why it's heavy on the squats. Also just about any strength coach worth his salt will program just about as many squats as well.

well thanks my back is p developed compared to my front, my bench was legit at 135lbs/60kg until I started swimming which somehow helped me up to 75kg, Im just tryna cut while keeping my strength atm, then I might try and work on bench more and get a dip bar but yeah I do like SS but the squats are p killer after a while especially when you have to DL after
