Of course I like seeing big numbers but since I got more serious into weightlifting I've been going to a gym with some international lifters who lift in b and c group natty and for them the difference in one place can mean funding or no funding, so my opinion is now that it's good for the sport rather than bad for it

Also, how's your speed? It's important to keep your squats quick and snappy in the concentric phase (when you're standing up). If you're grinding your squats out you need to drop the weight. Having a big, slow squat is worthless. Just look at durkz.

Is there a high occurrence of tendinitis due to wide snatching? Part of the purpose of this forum is to provide feedback to those trying to learn and develop the lifts. Obviously those just starting out aren't going to be able to lift very heavy weights. This doesn't mean they shouldn't post them--how are they going to receive advice if what needs commenting on can't be seen? The most common response to a query about form is "post a video" because it's necessary in order to gauge what's wrong, what's right, etc.

We are here to better ourselves and to help others better themselves. Part of that is sharing our shitty lifts.

Cleaned 190 last training cycle. 8.5 weeks until state championships.

I'm having him do more heavy singles earlier in the training cycle now and really hammering consistency into his head. If he can hold it together (bombed out on snatch last meet) then I think we can expect 142/190 out of him at states. Maybe more if he can get confident too.
