No they're not. They're meant to be trained professionals with medical knowledge. They're under no more obligation to apply that knowledge to themselves than anyone else is. A fat doctor is no more disgraceful than a fat accountant or lawyer.

Accountants and lawyers aren't required to study the human body. Doctors ('should') have much more knowledge on the subject of fat in the body. They are typically well-informed on the health risks and blah blah fuck I don't want to type anymore for some reason.

There's a saying in the medical field, "Doctors make the worst patients" and it's fucking true. Yeah they know all about the human body, disease states, etc. but they are usually the most in denial about their own bodies. Not exactly sure why it is, but it's pretty well-known.
