Why are powerlifters always fat, ugly, bald, neckbeards? Is this a requirement to be professional in this kind of sport?

Powerlifting is about lifting weight, it has nothing to do with aesthetics.
They aren't fixated with desire to court female attention at all times so they don't have to keep a low BF%
Powerlifting and cutting don't mix as well.

Not him but there's a number of pretty jacked guys in powerlifting. It's usually the 120+ guys that end up being fatties cause they're usually pretty tall and they don't have any weight limits.
