This is the only motivation I need. I got a poster just like this front and center of my home gym set up. This poster completely changed my life. I was pretty depressed back then, even though I had just landed a new job with pretty good pay. The day before, I planned on becoming an hero and ending it all, but I decided to give it a day and see what the job was like. Best choice I ever made, cause this poster was hanging in the break room and it hit me like a ton of bricks.
"Hang in there baby"? Are you mocking me? You're just a kitten on a rope... I thought to myself. Little did I know, I, too, was just a kitten on a rope. Every day I stopped in to check on him... and sure enough there he was... still clutching that rope. How could I let go before him? I can't let this kitten outlast me.
So I did it, /fit/... I hung in there too. The audacity of this cat to keep hanging in there really started to turn my life around. I looked at it every day... some times I would sit in the break room and just stare at it for well past my 15 minutes until someone came in and interrupted my trance. Eventually I knew I had to steal it, so I did. Been hanging in my basement ever since.
I got over my depression. Started working out. My the girl of my dreams... all because of this fucking cat. I know he ain't real. Maybe I've always known it... but still... I hope he would be proud of all I have accomplished thanks to his advice.
And P.S. He's still fuckin' hangin' in there too. Can't believe it.
