I squat just at parallel (maybe even a tiny bit above parallel) and am getting slight knee pain
Will this go away if I squat lower?

Squat low bar and the pain will go away

Low bar is never comfortable for me. I've tried
I heard squatting low stops knee pain though

It's likely your stance. Depth comes into it, but that's a very gradual process over several months. If it suddenly started aching and reactivates every time you squat it's because your feet aren't positioned right.

My knees don't hurt when I squat
Just at random times during the day (when I'm standing) I get slight aches

No clue then m8. The point of these threads is that you post a form check. You can't guess causes of pain from some guy writing on a Polynesian rocket scientist forum - could be 100 different things.

those aren't at parallel friend, they're above. hip crease should come just below the knee.

Ego lifter. Why would you be fucking with two plates before you knew you had perfect form. Drop the weight and go lower faggot. I hope your knees are fucked.
>>37625295
Nah they're not fucked
And I thought I had good form before I had a friend to film me. Can't tell my depth by myself and didn't feel the need to until a few days ago

Same here, but i go full ATG at 120kg x5. I also notice sometime when i jump or something i might get some slight pain but nothing that serious. Started taking glucosamine now to look after my joints and Vitamin D (5000ui). Seeing improvements.

Feet too wide apart, not low enough squat, elbows too far back.
Looks like you're off balance and sinking forwards to compensate. Shearing forces directly to your kneecaps.

That isn't even close to parallel, are you deluded?
Those of you with pain, what is your flexibility? If it's tender, that's just tendonitis and overwork which is fixed with rest. Any other sharp pain should be fixed with flexibility, I rarely see fags stretch. Someone made a thread yesterday on stretching and apparently most of this board cant even fucking touch their toes

Yes you need to go lower. Since you aren't even hitting parallel let alone breaking it your knees are taking the force rather than your glutes.
