Hey /fit/ I need some advice here
Work has made my middle upper back/lower neck feel really sore lately and after doing some light deadlifting today the left side of my upper back/shoulder started hurting really really really bad.
Has this happened to any of you and how did you fix it? I got a very physically demanding job and I don't wanna have to get a new job or compromise my life any more (even though I might have to)
Anyone?

Try a week, max two of stretching. Yoga ( different types of pushups, neck exercises ) and light lifting.
Those swan pushups are pretty good. Google different stretches ( stretching routine ) and yoga stuff.
Also MASSAGE around the area that hurts, a tennis or lacrosse ball is good, or a foam roller. If any of the above are not available roll up a towel and tape it into a hard roll.

ps. radiating pain, into the fingers or toes suggests nerve problems. See which fingers hurt, google which nerve it is and stretch that nerve.
