Why can a house cat eat the same thing every day forever and be fine but I need to eat a food pyramid and make sure I'm balanced in all my nutrients and proteins and stuff?

Cat food is bottom tier meat jammed with a bunch of supplements. It's designed to be cheap and prevent nutritional deficiencies, not be the best possible thing a cat can eat. You can eat nothing but mcdonalds and still function.
