and I also think you're wrong about it only working if you're whacking 10 times every day - I saw huge results when I stopped entirely, and then no results when I was moderate about it.
I think the one thing which affects whether you see results is brain chemistry overall - if you're right next to the tipping point then it will have huge results, and if you're a long way off the tipping point (because you're doing other addictive things like internet, video-games etc.) then you'll hardly see a difference.
A lot of the really extreme results seem to be when it spills out into other areas of their life and they lose all their addictive tendencies.
