Noob gains refer to the period where your central nervous system adapt to lifting heavy shit, and it will be perceived as you getting stronger at an almost unreasonable pace (like 10kg+ on every lift every session) and can't be "wasted." It's just the first and kinda dramatic response to lifting shit.
GOMAD was designed in frustration by the dude who did SS for skeletons who come to him and claim they eat enough but don't gain any weight at all (literally and physically impossible, so they're lying about their diet), so to avoid having to discuss this shit with them he just told them to drink a gallon of milk each day which would definitely put them in the caloric excess range.
Lastly, people spend YEARS getting slow results in the gym, lifting weights and eating properly. DOUBLE that time period, at the minimum, for body weight. And unless you go on to do some borderline gymnastic shit for progression you will hit a plateau very quickly. Just go lift some weights and stop making excuses. Why some people feel they need to prepare their bodies for the gym is beyond me; that's what the gym is intended for.)
