I wouldn't say admire, but the manlets always scowl at me. This one manlet in particular actually makes complaints about me to the staff at the gym but they are friends with me and kind of laugh at him.

One time I left plates on the squat rack, which anyone whos been going to my gym for awhile knows that its acceptable to leave one plate on because pretty much everyone there will use that as a warm up. I guess this dude was too short and had to unrack the weight to lower the bar.

Another time he complained that I left my water bottle on the shoulder press machine but I was only gone for 2 seconds to grab my headphones out of the locker and left it there to mark my place

People stop what they're doing and watch me squat, deadlift and lately bench and press overhead.

It's fucking sad, that the gym goers are fascinated by a dude squatting 180-200kg, deadlifting about the same and benching 130-140kg.

I squat lmao4.5pl8 and if I do more than 4 sets in, I get wobbly on 4pl8s. I usually just do 3-4 reps with an empty bar, then go 1pl8,2pl8,3pl8,4pl8. for 3-5 reps.

And it's not about conditioning, I can do several sets of 20-22 reps with 275. I just can't warm up high reps and go down to heavy shit.

Yes and I'm ottermanlet mode.
I get mires when I full squat 110kg/ATG squat 90kg, which is pretty impressive in my gym since almost nobody squats.
Same thing when I deadlift, people are too busy curling or benching in the smith machine to make any progress in other lifts.

My gym had group therapy sessions that would start right as I finished up.

The "functional training" gang would stare in awe of what happens when a person goes to the gym to exercise instead of just move around.

It's very cool, I had staff girls that were very fit dropping the "good genetics" bomb on me to excuse my progress.

worst decision was going to a commercial gym as a grill. so much god damn spaghetti you'd think it was an Italian restaurant. Practically everyone.
It's a nice gym and all but they're constantly doing shit for me, without me even asking.
Getting me drinks, re-racking my weights, this one guy even wiped the sweat from my forehead before I went heavy telling me "you've got this".
It's a bit sad though, because it's kinda like I'm the only one in there who actually even lifts, lol.
