I graduated basic training on May 6th, turned 20 in BMT (March 31st) still in tech school at the moment got my number one job choice 1U0X1 aka I am going to be controlling the cameras on a mq9 reaper drone and using the targetting laser to blow the fucking shit out of terrorist fucks
I didn't join for muh country I joined for the benefits desu
Free schooling
Free food
Free gym
Free housing
Free medical
And I was working at Abercrombie and Fitch before this going nowhere in life
So it has been pretty great and I'm still just in training
BMT is easy it's just annoying and you get yelled at a lot but you will meet a lot of cool people and have some funny stories to tell
I didn't lose any gains desu that back picture is like 4 days out of BMT not lifting for 2 months
Overall I'd reccomend it if you have nothing going for you
Don't be a retard and join the marines or army even navy sucks 2bh
Only reason all the other branches talk shit is because we get treated the best and everyone knows it
Also found out from my instructor doing this job in the civilian world I can make up to 180k a year starting

Which is why you go for a stem degree. Schooling for anything else is pointless, unless you have a rich family who will support you after you graduate with an arts degree.
I would rather go to school for 4 years and get a bachelor's in CompSci or any type of engineering than have to endure 4 years of being a slave and surrounded by the biggest degenerates of our nation.
