That's right 1605 Lbs total in just 6 months. "SS is a meme" meme debunked.
After a short 3-4 week cut, then you can do a bodybuilding program and reap sweet gainz with the heavier weight you are using.
I actually think Starting Strength is a great program, but I'm sorry to say but if somebody got a 1600 lbs total in 6 months they would've seen freaky progress on ANY fucking routine, no matter how retarded. A guy like that is born to become a beast.

>340 lbs
>a short 3-4 week cut
Holy fucking retard
The average person who does not want to gain weight will not get even close to a 1600 lbs total in 6 months (internationally competitive top tier total for 83kg class and under)

Cut the "who does not want to gain weight" dont know how that got in there any average person on a reasonable bulk cannot dream of achieving this.
Kek my total is < 500lbs and I look better.
>>37496820
How is below 500lbs even possible?
>>37496849
I do very high volume training to failure
>After a short 3-4 week cut
top kek
>>37496801
If he's 340 in that pic, he's probably more than tall enough that he'd be a total skeletor at 83kg.
Almost definitely a 120+ man.
Crazy progress though, damn.
>>37496894
Still i don't know anybody who had a sub 500 total even on their first day at the gym step it up man.
that's pretty damn impressive.
>>37496820
>look better
>>37496363
good job on getting obese i guess
>>37496363
>guy gets strong on strength programme
I'll stick to looking aesthetic. Thanks
>>37498908
He was trying to get strong not pretty
>>37496363
>>37497035
>>37498392
It's actually not that impressive.
read this: http://nattyornot com/the-truth-about-rippetoes-linear-progression/
tldr;
1.6x BW squat
1x BW bench
1.8 BW dead
.6 BW ohp
It's great progress, but considering his bw puts things in perspective.

You do realize that increase in bodyweight and strength is not proportional at all?
A 320kg bench by a 160kg guy is way harder to achieve than an 80kg guy benching 160kg (ridiculous example but you get what i mean)
Simple bodyweight to 1rm ratios are not comparable.

now watch his lifts tank when he cuts all of that fat
>if you eat a huge amount your lifts will improve substantially
wow it's not like that gets said hundreds of times every day here
>>37499058
Yes, you are right. I think the best way to compare them would be by using wilks scores.
