I'm new to all of this, so I was wondering what your guys' diets were like when you were cutting?

I mostly ate sugar-free candy (the diabetic stuff, you can eat as much as you want, it doesn't have sugar in it), big shakes in the morning (put that protein powder in, some frozen fruits and a little ice cream helps) and salads 24/6. On the seventh day I'd do a cheat day. Add some meat to your salads, but you don't need too much because you're having whey protein.
My cutting is 1,800 to 2,500 calories + at least 30minutes of cardio everyday. This gets me to 8-10% bodyfat.
To put it into perspective my bulking is 2,800 to 3,500 calories + no cardio. This gets me to 20% bodyfat or so.
2 thighs, broccoli, & beans per meal, & some fruits throughout the day
I only eat when hungry
mornings it's a quest bar
Lunch/Dinner is chicken/lean meat/eggs and vegetables or fruit or a protein shake
Calories are around 1300-1500/daily usually lifting or cardio 45 minutes/day sometimes twice a day.
Somehow went cold turkey with sweets, pizza, delicious carbs and soda.
