Being obese is a serious threat to your health. You get heart disease, you're fucked, say goodbye to your life span. Liver or kidney problems, good luck with an organ transplant, you WILL die before you get one. Cancer? Stay at home and call all your relatives; you're not going anywhere.
There is no "fat acceptance" and "healthy at every size". We see it as a very real problem. We can't ignore it, because we simply cannot afford all the bullshit. In the US, you can buy bigger desk chairs and scooters for supermarkets. Here there is no option but to take the stairs. If you're obese here, your quality of life is significantly decreased.
The only way obesity is going to decrease in the US is if people have to suffer significant consequences for their gluttony and not be so fucking enabled all the time. No seats, no scooters, no healthcare, no "plus size" anything. If you can't fit through the door, you won't get into the building, end of story.
