Anybody here ever had thinning hair / thin hair, and had it get thicker / better? I've had very thin hair for as long as I can remember now, and I'm wondering if I started actually taking care of my body, if my hair would get thicker. I remember thinking i'd be bald by the time I was 20, and then by the time I was 25, and now I'm 27 and my thinning hair is exactly as it was when I was 18.

pic related...not me, but exactly what my head of hair looks like

Got thinning hair here too OP. Only on the top of my head though. I think its just genetics m8.

My dads head looks just like mine.

i really want to know more because i'm in the same boat. i'm 18 and i have pretty thin hair but i don't know if it was as thin when i was a kid. i guess i didn't care but i remember it being it thicker, yet in photos it looks just slightly better than my hair now.

also how do i style thin hair, it seems that every hairstyle that is not a bowl cut just exposes my scalp too much in a weird way

less shampoo, conditioner and use the right products too

Don't do nothing to your hair. Shampoo fucks it up. Use conditioner once every two months. You're destroying the oil your hair naturally produces to promote strong thick hair.

Anyone on /fit/ cut their own hair? I need a hair cut every two weeks cause my hair grows so fast. I look pretty good with a disconnected undercut, that shouldn't be too difficult right?

if you have long hair or if it has a fine or straight texture, add your castor oil and olive oil to conditioner then put it on or you will have trouble washing it off and it will look thinner.
