That's not the case. It's the sense of personal agency to determine that something is out of place, and should raise some concern. I hate to say it but this guy is right. I used to have pretty trashy guys hitting on me with relative frequency, there was even one night where a guy followed me and a friend to my car and insisted on talking to me through my window until I gave him a fake number. I lost thirty pounds and started a new job and all of a sudden I have even more guys hitting on me left and right at the new place. Some are still trashy but quite a few are decent to good looking. Its amazing how much a small change in weight can have an affect on the people who think you're attractive.
If I can push through and lose the last of this weight, I can only imagine the kinds of guys that will approach me. But I also want to say that I think my results aren't the same for every girl. I have what most consider to be a nice face and I look young. I'll be 26 in August but everyone is legitimately surprised when I say that and they always tell me they thought I was 17-21.
