How the fuck do people bench DOUBLE their body weight?
I just do not get it, it seems like something I'll never be able to achieve.
I currently weight 86kg (around 13% bf%) and the most I have ever benched was 100kg for 4 reps about two years ago and that was killer.
My OHP is 60kg, squat at 120kg and deadlift at 130kg but Bench is lagging hard at 80kg

Anyone have some top tips, or is it a case of just growing some balls and benching harder.

Tren hard and eat clen

Form is a big part of benching. Compared to DB press, bench press is really about getting in the perfect position to put up as much weight as possible. And to me, it's also the lift with the biggest "mental block." If I don't have a spotter my confidence while benching goes to shit.
Basically, look up good bench press form and practice it a lot. Remember that a lot of the lift is mental, and have a good spotter to help you out. Also eat. You'll make it.

>he benches less than he weighs
>he only squats 120kg
>he barely OHPs LMAO 1 PLATE
>his deadlift is only 20lbs heavier than his squat
Maybe you're just weak?

Aside from I am more like 19% and DL 170, you are me OP.
I got a buddy that has been going for 2 years and can bench 340lb.
His routine is, 5x5 bench 3 times a week.
He has weak everything else.
You get gooder by doing it more.
Also, add dumbell press to routine as well as bench.

Address your sticking point
Off the chest:
>Pause bench
Lockout:
>Floor press or pin press
Middle:
>Pin press
But at 80kg you probably just need to bench harder. Especially since you've benched higher before. Maybe work on speed, and make sure every rep is done with full exertion while maintaining acceptable form.
Have you lost a lot of weight since then? Bench is notoriously bodyweight dependent. Weirdly for me when I cut from 210lbs to 165lbs, my bench didn't suffer, my squat did, but its the opposite for most people desu
It's called being manlet with a tiny rom and form that decreases that rom even more

I thought 60kg was decent for OHP

It can't be.
It was my first 1/2/3/4 unlock and I'm still very much DYEL.

Just try harder
