I was decently lean for normie standards, I could sit down and my fat roll wasn't that big, fairly tight. Maybe 70kg is too low?

Honestly, my strength went up when I switched to lifting at home. Mainly because of the fact when I lifted at the local gym, I'd end up getting lazy, and just leg pressing instead of squatting. When I started lifting at home I literally had no other option but to squat.

Same goes for benching and everything else, no more chest press machines to fuck around on. Start lifting at home in a power rack or a half-rack, you'll be forced to do the main lifts, they'll go up naturally because it's all you'll be doing.

Do you think an home gym is a good option for aesthetics and not just strength?


I've been going to the gym on and off for a year and a half and I'm reaching European manlet ottermode (167 cm, 63 Kg, decent arms and shoulders, still chicken legs and pecs lacking).

I already had a blacksmith build a power rack for me, I'm tired of lifting in a bodybuilding obsessed gym with a trainer that promotes lots of meme exercises and everything in 3x12.
