I seem to lift way heavier when I don't fap as I'm a little frustrated with everyday life. It makes me try harder to pick up and honestly, I used to waste a lot of fucking time fapping once or twice a day. So in that sense, that urge has less of a control over me and I try to stick with it. I'll only fap like once every 1 or 2 weeks just to get my sperm moving lol.
