anyone on /fit/ have a vr headset?
I'm thinking about getting one, would it be effective to just wear one and watch a movie while just exercising and forgetting that your working out?
they main thing holding me back from working out is how boring it is. I need to keep my mind entertained. Music is just not enough.

Why had no one thought to make gimmick excercise shit for VR yet? It would be like how the Wii had all that exercise games when it first came out. There's a million dollar idea for someone, you're welcome
I feel like this is bait, but I'll post advice for any other escapist bros out there.
With long cardio sessions I always found listening to audio books was perfect. Especially once you're getting up there in distance, as long as you can self motivate and pace yourself without super fast paced music.
I found I would get second winds and get pretty pumped during actiony/intense scenes too. That vicarious adrenaline

>they main thing holding me back from working out is how boring it is.
Never going to make it
I feel like being able to see is kind of important for most exercises, but I'm probably just being narrow-minded.
If you need to keep your mind occupied just drop acid before you go to the gym

>Getting bored working out
If you're not in pain up the weight.

kek, google image search describes this as exactly how I picture OP
My Rift get hot enough as it is. If I were to be working out when using it, I'd be putting my face into a swamp. It would destroy the fabric and risk getting moisture into the lenses.
