I like their olive oil with omega 3s and vegetable oil for the higher smoke point and so my heart will give out one hour later. I don't notice the taste

Smuggling whiskey to work in an olive oil bottle.

PROS:
1. It's heart healthy
2. It's relatively cheap
3. It tastes decent, especially with red vinegar on salads, veggie subs, etc.
4. It's available everywhere
5. Based TV chef Jamie Oliver swears by it

Note: he basically used an entire bottle on that one pizza in the second vid. Almost like he was trolling people with that shit.
CONS:
1. Low smoke point; it burns too easily to use it to fry foods like steak properly
2. It's light sensitive and lot of olive oil comes in clear bottles, which ruins the integrity of the fat molecules.
3. It's high in calories. Don't fall for the low carb meme, brah. Calories matter.
That's about it. I'd say the pros outweigh the cons quite a bit. But all things in moderation.
I think the old greeks used olive oil as lubricant for anal intercourse. I will try that tonight.

Sometimes the old ways are the best.
I'm not a good cook and I only had my first positive experience with olive oil the other day, but here it is:
>live with dad
>dad likes to buy stuff that says "light" on it
>Bonelli "Light in Taste" olive oil in the cabinet
>pan fry some salmon in it
>kind of sucks
>buy some Central Market brand olive oil because Central Market brand is usually high quality at good value, pick the Kalamata variant because of tasting notes and usage suggestions, roughly $1.50 more than the name brand stuff
>pan fry some salmon in it
>fucking amazing
If I ever leave Texas, Central Market is probably the thing I'll miss the most.

>that guy at who carries a flask filled with olive oil
>the same guy who carries a pocket egg and salt packets
love this shit, my family has always used it. fry up my eggs in the morning with it and use it for almost all of my cooking.
didn't realize just how high-cal it is until I got /fit/ but a little bit can go a long way when used right.

Eggs taste great when fried in olive oil. I've found it's also a decent lube when I when I finger my ass.
