Roll down your fucking socks, holy shit. Have your socks at ankle/slightly above ankle level.
Under no circumstances should your socks be wrapped around your calves like a condom choking the blood flow.
You are not wearing boots, you are not hiking, in military or swat uniform, or construction uniform. You're wearing cargo shorts, with what I assume are tennis shoes. Wear your god damn socks normally.
