I've been trying hard to like the idea of having tattoos on my body, but I find most (if not all) somewhat trashy or cringe looking.
I think that having tattoos ruin your aesthetic look instead of instead of enhancing it.
Tattoos of names and/or dates are the worst.

I hate tattoos and think they look fucking terrible in 99% of cases, and they're a huge red flag on women especially. I've lost track of the number of times I've met a qt but immediately lost interest and dropped her because she had a tat or two. Guys have a bit more wiggle room for tattoos, but it usually just ruins any aesthetic their body might have had.

The only tattoos I've ever like are anchors on sailors, tribal if they have meaning, and usually weeby shit. As in asian style tattoos in the artstyle you see in asian gang movies and such. Yak and triad style ones. Really any cultural ones that don't try too hard to be photorealisitc. Maybe simple symbols and shapes if done well. The biggest problem with tats is lack of meaning. If you're going to alter your body like that, at least have a damn good reason. Freaks who get off on it need not apply, they're happy doing their own thing.
