I've put cod liver oil and creatine on my supplements list and Vitamin D in winter because I live in Scotland, otherwise I've come to the conclusion that paying for supplements is something people who don't understand nutrition enough or are flat out retarded do.
The one exception is people rich and busy enough that paying for acute control actually saves them money, but these definitely aren't the kinds of people you'll see on 4chan.
The cheapest, most complete and best macros sources of protein are also the ones which are fullest in nutrients and cheapest. They're called vegetables. Fish and white meats are also a viable option, especially sardines and mackerel in terms of cost and nutrient benefits. Chicken breast is what dense americans tend to go for because they think it's an isolated source of protein, but they'll avoid legumes and vegetables. It's just fucking ridiculous.
